Moth Traps

Our moth traps come complete with electrics wired up ready to use. All electrics are supplied in an IP56 waterproof control box, with compression flanges and 10 metres of input lead and 2 metres of output lead. We offer "Skinner" type, Robinson, Heath and the new Johnson Traps.

Skinner Traps are manufactured from exterior grade plywood and softwood. They are designed to fold flat when not in use for easy storage. As with traditional skinner traps no based is supplied. The traps can either be placed direct on the ground, on a white sheet or on a timber base easily obtained from a
hardware store.

Robinson Traps are the traditional design and offer the ultimate trap for capture retention.

Heath Traps are ideal for use when trapping away from a mains supply as they operate off a 12v power supply.

The new Johnson Traps are extremely lightweight, made from a fine mesh and supported by metal rods - they are ideal for overseas travel. They can be operated from either a 12V power supply with 8w or 15w Actinic tubes or from the mains supply with either 8w Actinic, 15w Actinic or Mercury Vapour Bulbs.
