This is somewhat larger than the hut and has an extra compartment at the top which consists of a chamber sealed by a removable plastic panel and provides an excellent space for straw or other plant material and attractant to encourage over-wintering lacewings, etc.
This top chamber can be accessed by lifting the hinged lid which is securely fastened by a hook and eye. The lower area of the bee-bug house is filled with bamboo to provide shelter and nesting areas for other beneficial garden predators, bees, etc. Attractant can be obtained if required.
